The New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute invites you to a clinical series: FROM THE CHAIR TO THE COUCH 2019 – 2020
The New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute invites you to the first clinical discussion of the year in our Chair to Couch series. It will take place on Tuesday, November 5th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Interested in learning more about psychoanalysis and how to deepen your clinic practice? Please join us for our first gathering and open house where you will have an opportunity to meet current candidates, talk about psychoanalytic training, and learn about our community and the current endeavors of our candidates and members.
A sample of what we will discuss includes: the challenges of balancing life and analytic training, the ins and outs of classes and supervision at NYPSI, our referral and treatment center, as well as current publications, research and community outreach by NYPSI members.
As usual, there will be food and drink and a lively discussion. Professionals and students with backgrounds in psychology, psychiatry, and social work are welcome to attend.
Training at NYPSI Offers:
– Rigorous license-qualifying full and part-time psychoanalytic training
– In-depth supervision and thought-provoking classes
– Evening classes to accommodate work schedules
– A one-year psychoanalytic prep program
– A one or two-year post-doctoral program that includes the opportunity to take the first year of the psychoanalytic training program classes
Please RSVP to Hilli Dagony-Clark at firstname.lastname@example.org for the Tuesday, November 5th evening by Thursday, October 24th. We will send the apartment address for the evening once you RSVP.
